Fun & Fast Ways to Get Gorgeous

Go faux, schedule a pedi, and yes, eat chocolate! Here are some star secrets for looking beautiful.
Best Way to Fake It
They say necessity is the mother of invention, so when Calista Flockhart asked celebrity makeup artist Tina Tumbow to give her a sexy faux-lash look that didn't scream "fake," Tina snipped the round, bulky bases off a few individual falsies (which come in bunches). Then she dipped each cluster in lash glue and, using tweezers, adhered about four of them to the outer edges of Calista's lash line. For extra impact, add more lashes.
A modified version of this look was created on Calista Ftockhart. Give it a try. It's easy!
Treat Your Feet
Though summer's over, it's still a good idea to give yourself a pedicure, says Suzanne M. Levine, D.P.M., a podiatrist in New York City. She suggests one that incorporates a dead skin-sloughing acid to help prevent cracked heels. One of my faves: the Bliss hot Milk and Almond Pedicure ($65; blissworld.com) with lactic acid.

One Step to Sexier Skin
St Ives Moisturizing In-Shower Exfoliating Body Polish With Oatmeal & Shea Butter ($7; at drugstores) uses sugar crystals (yum!) to rub out rough spots.
Massage into dry areas; shower off
The New 'In' Thing
When I was introduced to IN (Intelligent Nutrients), a certified organic beauty and lifestyle brand that contains nothing ever rumored to be harmful to you or the environment, I knew the products wouldn't disappoint My favorites include Perfect Hold Hair Spray ($39), which uses acacia gum to keep your do in place (it doesn't weigh down your strands), and lnnercalm Infused Chocolate ($5), a dark chocolate bar tinged with antioxidant-rich blueberries. Find IN at Barneys New York (barneys.com) and select SpaceNK stores (spacenk.com).
Good for the earth, good for you.
