Massage Your Ears For A Great Glow

A good facial massage is credited with keeping many a complexion in sparkling condition -- but don't forget about the ears. Facial exercise expert Eva Fraser says an ear massage peps up the circulation, relieves tension, and leaves you with that rosy glow.

Her procedure is simple: "Using index fingers and thumbs, hold the rim of your ears and lift them slightly upwards, then with small rotations between fingers and thumbs, massage the area." Then move down, massaging as you go, "and when you reach the lobes, pull them down slightly and massage again."

After this is repeated, Fraser says "using small, quick, circular movements, massage all the crevices or spirals of the ear -- the pads of the index finger are best for this." The whole procedure should take about one minute.

London-based Fraser practices what she preaches -- and she is 70 years old but looks closer to 50.

"Aging is a progression of life, and all muscles need to be worked, or they slacken," Fraser said. "It's as simple as that."
