Allergy medication suggestions

I'm looking for recommendations for good over-the-counter allergy medications. I think I finally need to give in and take some (I'm miserable!). But I am so afraid of feeling tired or "too dried out." Does anyone have any good suggestions for me?

allergy meds

I have found that the four hour Benadryl for allergies works without making me tired. If I take anything that is for twelve hour relief I can't keep my eyes open!
