about the fibromyalgia

hi, just a little anwer to your question of ultram. i do take the ultram 50 mg only at night when i go to bed. because for me the only side effect is, that i will be gettting very tired and will sleep. my latest orthopedic told me , that it would be ok to take 2 tablets. to make the sleep longer and your body with less pain. most of the time i only take one of them. in the daytime i do take ibuprofin prescription of 600 mg. 3 to 4 times a day with food first.you also can take motrin , advil. or any other with ibuprofin. i dont know what your milligramms of ultram are, but i have the lowest dosage. so far it helps me. my other orthopedic wanted to give me ,, lyrica,, wich is formulated directly for FM. i will not take it, because of ingredients i am allergic too. besides you cannot have any alcohol with that one. i do like my glass or 2 of wine or even a drink drink when i want it. i am not a alcoholic haahah. i am just telling you what you cannot have with lyrica.
i had th FM pain so strong in my legs and knees especially lying down to sleep. i would wake up from it and would hope that it will subside with different position. eventually i could not stand it anymore, and went to the orthopedic for my knees and legs. after taking x rays. i had cortisone shots in my knees, 3 in each knee, in a sequence of 6 weeks.it is much better, but i do still get the pains in the legs and feet and the rest of my body, thejoints mostly. i hope you are in contact with a doctor, who does know about FM. FM IS ALSO IN THE ATHRITIS FAMILY. if the really hurt , you also can do one of microvable pouches with heat and lay on your joint wich one is hurting, or use a electric heating pad. i hope all this is helping you a little
