Doug Manning is a former school counselor, teacher and district administrator for career transitions. He is the co-founder and president of Bridges Transitions, a business that provides planning and self-management tools to over 14,000 schools and government agencies in North America.
Doug is a well-known public speaker for counselors and career educators, having keynoted in more than 40 states and provinces over the past five years. He was recognized as "Citizen of the Year" in his community for his work with teens in transition, and was named "Entrepreneur of the Year" for the business achievements of Bridges. He shares his weekly perspectives on living life on purpose through his Proactive Living blog.
Doug is also the father of three, grandfather of two, and husband of one.
