Does The Noise In My Head Bother You?, a memoir about sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll by Aerosmith’s front man, Steven Tyler, hits shelves today.
Over the years, Tyler and his band mates have sold over 100 million records worldwide, and put singles like Dream On, Walk This Way and Don’t Want to Miss a Thing on the Top 10 charts. But behind the scenes, things we’re messy and low at times. From Tyler’s hefty drug addictions in the 70s and 80s, to his sexcapades and rehab visits, to his more recent throat surgery and public feud with his band, Tyler, 63, lays everything out on the table. His book chronicles the rock star’s dark past down the path to his current sobriety.
The American Idol judge also tells tales of betrayal in the cutthroat music business, hoping his words will serve as warning to new bands out there.
“There were things I couldn't do to get back at people, so I wrote a book,” Tyler says.
In addition to Tyler new memoir, his first-ever solo single It Feels So Good will be released on May 10th.
