10 Leading Men We Love

We especially love to go see Denzel Washington, 56, portray real-life figures on screen, such as Steve Biko, Malcolm X, Rubin Carter, Frank Lucaswe could keep going. Its no surprise that this talented man has two Oscars, two Golden Globes and a Tony award under his belt.

While Tom Hanks, 54, is also an established film writer, producer and director, we have a not-so-guilty-pleasure for the movies we can actually watch him in. Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan and Apollo 13 are three of the biggies, but he was also quite loveable in The Terminal.

You could watch a movie starring Freeman, 73, with your eyes closed and still know its himthat distinguished speaking voice is one in a million. Voice aside, wed of course much rather watch this talented actor in action. His portrayal of Nelson Mandela in the 2009 movie Invictus landed him two awards and nine nominations.

Clooney, 49, honed his acting chops on television when he starred as Dr. Douglas Ross on ER. Since then, this silver fox made the switch to the big screen, and we cant say were complaining. Hes had his fair share of highly-acclaimed roles in films such as Batman & Robin, Out of Sight, O Brother, Where Art Thou, Oceans Eleven, Up In the Airshall we continue? Hes currently in the midst of filming The Ides of March, and we cant wait until it hits theaters later this year.

Even hearing the name Brad Pitt sends any womans heart aflutter. Pitt, 47, is truly the quintessential, all-American hunk. That is not to downplay his great talent as an actor, however. His film repertoire is extensive, including lead roles in Mr & Mrs. Smith, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Rusty Ryan in Oceans Eleven (plus Twelve and Thirteen.) He has two more films coming out this year, and another in 2012.

He may not have that same great head of hair that he did years ago in Grease and Saturday Night Fever, but wed still head to the theater any day specifically to see John Travolta, 57, act/sing/dance/all of the above. Hes been a box-office success for decadesfrom Pulp Fiction to his role as Edna Turnblad (yes, a woman!) in Hairspray.' We hope he never stops!

Bardem, 42, starred in his second film, The Ages of Lulu,' when he was only 20. Since then, hes won numerous awards for his work, including and Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a BAFTAwed be out of breath if we listed them all. The No Country for Old Men actor is not only talented, but also happens to be a big piece of eye-candywed gladly watch him on-screen for either (or both) of these reasons.

Aussie actor Hugh Jackman, 42, has been internationally recognized for his portrayals of superheroes (Wolverine from X-Men) and romance characters (Leopold in Kate & Leopold and Robert Angier in The Prestige.) In 2008, People also named Jackman the Sexiest Man Alive (a title we will certainly not dispute.) And now you can get excited, because his newest film, Real Steel, will hit theaters later this year. Hopefully hell be showing off those biceps in at least a few scenes.
