Douglas has had even more reason to pull his family closer to him after he was diagnosed with advanced throat cancer in 2010. Following a grueling treatment, his prognosis is said to be good.
  • Paul McCartney And Stella, Heather, Mary And Beatrice Sir Paul has one of the longest and most consistently successful careers in pop music history. His other two daughters are also standouts in their fields: Heather is a potter and Mary is a photographer. McCartney's youngest daughter, Beatrice, was born during the superstar's marriage to model Heather Mills.

  • John Travolta And Ella Blue Travolta’s only daughter, Ella Blue, 11, often accompanies him and his wife, Kelly Preston, around town. • Dennis Quaid And Zoe Grace Quaid normally projects a carefree image, but he had a difficult time when Zoe and her twin, Thomas Boone, were born in July 2004 and suffered from a staph infection. The hospital where the twins were born gave them a dose of the antibiotic heparin that was 1,000 times the amount supposed to be given to infants. The twins nearly died. Quaid sued the maker of the drug and reached a settlement.

On her Sketches EP, she’s got a song about her anger at the breakup of her parents’ marriage.
