A bevy of Hollywood's Living Legends attended the invitation-only screening of “Carol Channing: Larger Than Life” on January 18th at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. The documentary will be released nationwide on January 20th, eleven days before Channing's 91st birthday. Produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker Dori Berinstein, it chronicles four decades of the remarkable career of "The First Lady of the American Musical Theater" and boasts an all-star cast. Here's a pictorial parade of the headliners who showed up for Wednesday's private event.
Connie Stevens
The popular actress and singer once dated Elvis Presley and she was married to Eddie Fisher and well as James Stacy. Her daughters Joely Fisher and Tricia Leigh Fisher are also actresses. Connie is best known for her role as Cricket Blake in the TV series "Hawaiian Eye" with co-star Robert Conrad. Her first album, released in 1958, was titled "Concetta" and she went on to cut several hit singles including "Sixteen Reasons" in 1960. She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as well as on the Star Walk in Palm Springs and the Italian Walk of Fame in Canada. Now 73, she served as secretary-treasurer of the Screen Actors' Guild from 2005 to 2007 and is a philanthropist for the Republican Party. -
Jo Anne Worley
Unforgettable as a regular on "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In," Jo Anne has also made numerous guest appearances on shows such as "The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson," "The Andy Williams Show," and "Love, American Style." She was on game shows including "Hollywood Squares." She appeared in several Broadway musicals and in
2008, she played the role of Madame Morrible in the Los Angeles production of "Wicked." Now 74, she is currently President of Actors and Others for Animals.

Lily Tomlin
Now 72, the long-time Laugh-In regular hosted the event and led a post-screening Q &A session on stage with some of the stars of the film as well as the director. The beloved comedienne, writer and producer's career has garnered her Tony Awards, Emmy Awards, a Grammy, and an Oscar nomination.

Deanna Lund
Deanna is best known for her long running role as Valerie Ames Scott in the TV series "Land of the Giants." She also appeared as Peggy Lowell on the soap "General Hospital" and was the leading lady in the 1989 Christmas horror film "Elves." The 74-year-old actress was married to her TV co-star Don Matheson until the 1970s and their daughter Michelle Matheson is an actress as well. Deanna briefly dated Larry King in 1995. -
Karen Sharpe Kramer
Stanley Kramer's widow and the mother of actress Kat Kramer, Karen is a star in her own right who still has her dancer's figure at 77. Her film debut was in 1952 in one of Kramer's films, but she didn't meet and marry him until over a decade later. She is perhaps best know as Jeannie's gorgeous nemesis in the TV series "I Dream of Jeannie." -
Carole Cook
Born Mildred Frances Cook, the actress was dubbed "Carole" by her mentor, Lucille Ball, because Ball said she reminded her of Carole Lombard. Rumor has it that Ball told Cook that she had "the same healthy disrespect for everything in general." Cook, now 83, appeared regularly on "The Lucy show" and "Here's Lucy." She also appeared on Broadway in the original production of "42nd Street" and in several feature films including "Sixteen Candles" and "American Gigolo." As recently as 2006, she appeared in an episode of the ABC drama "Grey's Anatomy." -
Michael Learned
When she was playing the role that made her famous, Olivia Walton on TV's "The Waltons," the then-unknown actress was billed as "Miss Michael Leonard" just to make sure fans got it that she's a woman. She won three Emmy's for her portrayal of Olivia and she was nominated for four Golden Globes. She also starred as Nurse Mary Benjamin in the hospital drama "Nurse" on CBS during the 1980s and she appeared in three movies in the 1990s about Walton reunions. -
Tippi Hedren
Happy Birthday, Tippi! She turns 82 on January 19th 2012. The actress and model's career spans six decades with notable highlights that include her roles in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" and "Marnie." She is Melanie Griffith's mother and the two share screen credits on several productions. Currently she is devoting most of her time to the animal rescue preserve she founded in California in 1983.
