Bruce Jenner And Kris Kardashian: How Their Love Has Lasted
They say a marriage can't last in Hollywood. Obviously, someone forgot to give the memo to Bruce Jenner and Kris Kardashian.
The couple celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this past April by renewing their vows. But their secret, according to Jenner, 61, is realizing that their union is much different from where it was two decades ago.
"Obviously in any marriage over 20 years, there's going to be a lot of changes," he told Third Age at the NBC Universal All-Stars Party in Beverly Hills. "As our relationship has moved on, we've still been able to stay very close. But also lead different lives than we did."
Some of the biggest shifts have been in Kris' career. "When we first got married, she was a housewife and didn't really work. Now she's turned into a mogul," Jenner said.
For Kris, 56, that includes managing the careers of her headlining-making daughters: Kourtney, Khloe and Kim, who are making a fortune out of just being themselves. "It's like golf,” she says about the ups and downs of a marriage. “You hit that shot, but it's not about the bad shot, it's about how you recover from it. The most important thing in any relationship is that you will change and your partner will change; it's how you adapt to those changes."
