Jennifer Aniston, known for her gorgeous flowing locks, seems to have had some very bad hair days, at least in the past. That's because a Hollywood hairdresser, Maria Gabriella Perez is accused of ripping off the credit card information from her ultra-wealthy clients -- including Aniston -- and fraudulently charging approximately $280,000 on their cards in a one-year period.
Besides Aniston, Perez scammed Liv Tyler, Melanie Griffith, and Anne Hathaway. Cher was also named in the indictment, but her representative says Cher was not a victim.
Poor Anne Hathaway has been ripped off in the past. For a while she dated conman Rafaello Follieri, who was charged with fleecing donors out of millions in a charity scandal. After they broke up, he was sentenced to four and a half years in jail.
Melanie Griffith has already stated that she is willing to "cooperate with an investigation and testify if needed."
Liv Tyler may have been the biggest loser. According to the legal documents, Perez swindled $214,000 from her. Guess she never checked her credit card bills.
On her website, Perez posted autographed photos of her clients, including one of Aniston with the inscription "Dearest Gabby, Thank you for always being so good to me!" But Aniston said she had stopped making appointments with the hairdresser five years ago when she sensed something was wrong. In an interview on "Good Morning America" Aniston said, "We had a situation that was not cool so I just stopped going to her."
