Celebrity chef Giada de Laurentiis is best known for her skills in the kitchen, but it’s no secret that she has quite the sense of style as well. Last Friday, Giada attended the Foundation Polo Challenge match in Santa Barbara, where she was chosen to cook up a meal for the royal guests of honor, Will and Kate.
Giada, 40, wore a gorgeous light grey fitted dress that hugged and showed off her toned figure. The asymmetrical cutouts on the chest really made the dress—the detail was pretty and chic without showing off too much. As to not detract from the gorgeous neckline, Giada kept accessories to a minimum and sported a pair of muted pumps. We definitely approve—and we bet the fashionable Kate did, too.
What was on the menu for the royal couple? Giada served up “light and fresh” dishes that represented both California and Giada’s native country of Italy. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed a meal of pea pesto crostini, California chopped salad, and chicken Milan. Buon appetito!
