Sharon Stone, whos been out of the spotlight for four years, is in the news again following a stalker scare as well as a candid interview with CNNs Piers Morgan. In the interview yesterday, Stone, whose last movie was in 2007, told Morgan that she got a restraining order against stalker Bradly Gooden. As a celebrity, Stone said, she expected episodes like this and knows how to handle them. "Less than scary," she said, "I think we proceed with some sort of logic, and people are in place and know what to do." LAPD officers are reportedly patrolling her home around the clock. Gooden, who invaded Stones home two weeks ago, was released from a psychiatric unit earlier this week. The restraining order requires him to stay at least 100 yards away from Stone at all times. During the interview with Morgan, Stone at first refused to talk about her love life, saying, "When were better friends, you can check in on that." But at another point, Stone, 52, said, "If we are putting it out here to the people of the globe, I believe that it's time maybe for me to partner up. I think it might be a good time for me to think about me partnering up." She also talked about best-known movie, Basic Instinct, saying that it still "stood up" because it enabled women to become stronger both sexually and in "their feminine side." The movie, in which Stone plays a seductive serial killer, is notorious for a scene in which Stone crosses her legs and exposes her vagina. "Its the most paused moment in movie history," Stone told Morgan, laughing. But at the time the movie was released, she didnt have such a light-hearted attitude. Shes claimed that director Paul Verhoeven , who told her that the scene would show nothing and that she shouldnt wear any underpants because the light would reflect off the underwear.
