Weekend Red Carpet Looks

Morgan Fairchild From the special screening of L’Amour Fou in New York, to the White House Correspondents Association Dinner in Fashion in D.C., and the 2011 Logie Awards in Melbourne Australia, red carpets all over the world were flooding with celebs this weekend. Here are just a few of the standout looks:

Wow! Morgan Fairchild, 61, lit up the room in a bright, bittersweet gown and shawl. Not only does her lipstick perfectly match her outfit, but so do the small beads on her statement earrings.

Sarah Murdoch Because the simple navy dress was so classic and sleek, the cutout top of the dress was just the right amount of sexy. 38-year old Sarah Murdoch’s figure looked amazing!

Gina Gershon Gina Gerson’s red carpet dress closely resembled one of this season’s biggest trends, the wrap dress. The neckline looked extremely flattering on the 48-year-old actress, as did the dress’ slate color.

Gayle King Gayle King, 56, wore a fuchsia dress that looked amazing with her skin tone and lit up her complexion. The jeweled strap on her one-shoulder number was a piece of jewelry in itself.

Patricia Arquette A long black gown on the red carpet almost never fails. Patricia Arquette, 43, jazzed up her simple look with gold jewelry and a matching clutch.

Joan Rivers …Okay, so here’s an example of a black gown that didn’t entirely work out. While Joan Rivers, 77, is one of the few people in Hollywood who could pull off this fun, feathered number, the gown itself is just too wintry for May. And the red fur coat? Even more so.
