Just incase you have been on pins and needles wondering where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are honeymooning after their April 29th nuptials, the secret is officially out.
The royal newlyweds left yesterday via private jet for a two-week getaway to the island country of Seychelles, said to be one of the most beautiful and romantic places in the world. Their exclusive villa costs a whopping $6,500 per night, which comes equipped with a butler and a personal chef to cook up whatever the couple desires.
The Indian Ocean resort is extremely secluded, surrounded by beautiful cocoanut groves, white sandy beaches and crystal-blue water. William and Catherine can enjoy activities like snorkeling, kayaking and diving, but jet skis and other abrasive water sports are banned in order preserve the location’s tranquility.
To make sure the couple would really get the privacy they’ve been yearning for after months in the spotlight before the Royal Wedding, two Scotland Yard protection officers were sent to check out the location three weeks ago
Hopefully they’ll enjoy a little R & R together while they can. As soon as they return from their tropical retreat, the couple will endure a ten-week separation as William leaves for the Falkland Isles for helicopter training.
