Eye Lift?

Eye Lift?

Hello everyone. I'm looking for advice from anyone who has had an eye lift. I think it would make me look 10 years younger. My wife says it is so obvious when someone has had an eye lift that it doesn't make them look younger, just like someone who wants to look younger. Does anyone have any experience with eye lifts, and maybe what to tell the doctor when looking to have it done?

Cosmetic surgery tip

If at all possible, if you know any registered nurses at the hospitals where the surgeons operate, get some discreet recomendations from them. They'll know who gets the best results for what you want done, has good practices and skills etc.
Also, when I had my tummytuck, I got a lot of good advice and information from AOLs cospmetic surgery Boards. I don't know if they still exist...

Do it!

My Mom had it done and I am thinking of having it done when I am 50 and you are absolutely right...my Mom looks better then ever at 65 and due to a genetic condition...I would not hesitate...I would take at least a week for recovery but I now know at least 10 other people that have done it and I would highly recommend the procedure...just do you homework on who you have do it...that is key.

Mine was very natural

I had an eye life and entire face lift when I was 59 yrs old. It is VERY important to choose your surgeon carefully. Only go to a plastic surgeon. Some of the most popular surgeons in this area do awful jobs. ALWAYS find actual people who have used the surgeon you are thinking about, look at them and then read up on the latest procedures. I am sure you have friends who know some people who have had that surgery done. If the surgeon doesn't do the latest procedures move on no matter how well thought of he is. Look at his training and if he is board certified, not just that he has PA after his name. That is just a professional corporation for legal purposes.

I haven't had an eye lift yet...

I'm sure we've all seen pictures of the famous men who had eye lifts and no longer looked like themselves, such as Liberace, Jack Lemmon, Bob Dole (some of whom are no longer with us).

I would recommend looking at some before and after pictures of men who have had this procedure done by the plastic surgeon you choose. See if it looks like too much skin was removed. You want to end up looking like yourself, just well rested, not over done.
