What makes this home so unique and special are so many things. First of all my Grandmother has been at this home for many years and she is very happy there. The care she receives is wonderful. They are very attentative to each persons personal needs and health. The food that they serve is "awsome". My grandmother loves it. They make the best "homemade" meals which are generous in taste and amount. The time that my grandmother has been there I have been privledged to see them do many things for individuals and their family members. At the holidays, such as Thanksgiving, they had seperate tables set up for family members to join their loved one and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with all of the trimmings. It was personal and a kind thing to do for the family members who were not able to take their loved ones home that year. I have seen each and EVERY Christmas lots of gifts given to each resident from Blue Amber. Each wrapped gift was geared to what each resident enjoyed and liked. The residents always seem happy when I arrive for visits and the place is always clean and oder free (except for the wonderful smell of dinner being cooked). The residents always look clean and happy. They joke around with the staff and seem happy and content. I have recommended this home over and over again to individuals looking to place their loved one. I have seen them go over and above their needs many times for many different residents during the numbers of years that I have been there. They truly care about each and every person that they have in their home. They always make sure that each reaident is receiving the best medical care available and I have even seen them visit these residents when they were having hospital stays. They have fun activities going on such as Church visits, different organizations in to volunteer their time to sing, play games, and even ready to them. I have seen them take the residents out for various field trips such as hay rides or trips to visit the mall. They dress up for Halloween and play lots of games. There always seems to be something fun going on. I really am happy that my Grandmother has such a wonderful place to stay at. I can not thank them enough. A+++++++ in my book.

like it dark...no light ( they will screw in a bulb when company comes)...like having a pitbull and lab literally sniff your butt when you come to visit , puppies in a cage when you walk in ( feces and all)...stinks...find out how long your loved one sits in a chair or sits on a toilet ..are they fed on the toilet too? Money was definitely misappropriated...proved by the federal government that started this whole investigation of this place along with the FACT that my brother almost DIED from a HUGE dicubidus ulcer....that is still healing after many months...he is walking now....he was always seated in a wheelchair before. My family has been harrassed during our rescue of our sister from this place and we will persue with a law suit if they persist on bothering us with the phone calls they have made to us since the rescue. LEAVE US ALONE!!!
