Reviews:This is an extremely nice facility. We placed a reluctant elderly relative in assisted living here. She seemed pleased with the hotellike appearance of various areas (front desk, dining room, patio), the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food, and the lovely room she was assigned. She had been living alone for so long, we were worried about how she would actually interact with staff and residents. There were bumps at first, but she is now participating in daily activities (including computer bowling on Wii), eating well, and seems quite happy overall.

Waterford Glen has a lovely ambiance with many happy employees, however it is heavy from an administrative standpoint. They are more concerned with not violating the law than they are with care of the occupants. It is a shame that today places like Waterford Glen have lost sight of the big picture and fall back on administrative policy. The sadest thing is that these people are elderly, can be confused and unless someone is paying attention it is not immeidately clear that there is a problem. In my case they fabricated policy that did not exist either at a state or federal level. My advice is to look at al the assisted living centers, this one has vacancy for a reason.?
