My relative is court ordered to be rehabilitated and then to return home. She is in Essex House. There are two aides on duty at a time. This woman can neither walk or feed herslef. She is in diapers. I have found her in the bed with her body exposed, dirty diapers, dried stool on her.The aide brings in the food tray but never help her eat. The room dirty, stale milk glasses with curdled milk still at her bedside. She has had bruises on her face, arms and legs. I have pictures. She is terrified to mess the bed clothes. She is 91 years old and the court system and Essex House has violated every human dignity and I suspect laws that are on the books. The family is now barred from the place unless supervised.
