Such a great place for a family member to stay. The staff is always curtious and attentive to my mom's needs. From the first day I stepped foot into Berkshire Elder Care, I knew I found the right place. Everyone in the community gets along, the food is great even for my mom and she is a picky eater. There is always something going on from puzzles, music, kid visitors, etc. I am sooo happy that I found this place if anyone is looking for an assisted living facility in Ventura County, this is one I would definitely recommend. Not sure why they call them an RCFE or Board and Care but whatever this place is the best assited living facility in Ventura County if you ask me. Thanks for doing right by my mom and my family I will make sure to pass the word around..

I can’t even begin to tell you how relieved I was when I placed my mom at this assisted living facility/RCFE here in Thousand Oaks. The staff at Berkshire Elder Care was warm and friendly, the administrators were knowledgeable and experienced, I knew right from the first couple minutes of touring the facility that I had found the next home for my mom. My mom suffers from a severe case of Alzheimer’s and has been treated with respect and great care. I know they are on a waiting list right now but the second another room opens up – my dad will be joining!! Thank you again for providing such great care for my mom – This is the best assisted living facility in Ventura County!!

If you are looking for an Assisted Living Facility, RCFE or Board and Care in Thousand Oaks You've come to the right place Their staff is experienced, meal plans are enjoyed by all residents and the Owner/Administrator Aileen Valentino R.N. has 20+ years in home health and hospice care oh ya, did I mention... she lives next door!! This is a blessing in disguise as I know for sure my family is getting the best care possible at all times! Berkshire Elder Care is one of, if not the best, Assisted Living facility or RCFE in Thousand Oaks.
