I would recommend that anyone searching for an assisted living facility look elsewhere, rather than Woodland Place. This place has been reported to the state on several occasions for abuse, lacking proper food supplies, untrained workers providing services they are not qualified for and not providing an adequate number of personnel per shift. The food they serve is often out of date or discards from the grocery store the owners also own. The state will investigate and they clean up their act long enough for the state to go away and then they go back to their old ways. I know for a fact that several of the workers are verbally abusive and will often leave the patients laying in their own feces for hours before they clean them up. If you care at all for your loved one please do not put them here.

I know personally that Woodland Place is NOT where you want to put anyone you care about. This place has been repeatedly reported to the state for inadequate care and abuse. They often work night shifts without the state required number of employees. They do not keep the required amount of food on hand and often the food that is there is old and outdated. They let untrained workers perform tasks they are not qualified for (medically). They often let patients lay in their own feces without cleaning them. Several employees are verbally abusive to the patients. I know that the state has investigated them several times and they temporarily clean up their act but then go back to the abuse after the state leaves. Please consider another place for your loved one.
