While many nursing homes seem to get a bad rap, Summer Wind Assisted Living seems to be doing a good job of breaking the stereotype. The facility is clean and nicley furnished. Patients are cared for by nursing staff in a respectful manner. As with any nursing home/assisted living, turnover rate for employees is very high because of the demanding requirements of the job. There will always be those employees that don't meet expectations, but the main staff who have been there for years are dedicated and caring. They treat the residents with kindess, respect and professionalism.
