Lansing Assisted Living 1
AWFUL!

Dont put anyone you love in this place. It is terrible! I believe there is now a state investigation going on there. The people living there are treated with little respect - being called nasty names and constantly neglected by the staff, several of which can barely speak English it seems. The patients are not fed a decent, balanced diet and often become sick because of it. Medicine is often not given when it should be and/or improper medication is provided to the wrong patient! Patients have personal items stolen from them, and when family tries to communicate/complain to the head of the household or other higher staff members, they are also treated with significant disrespect and even threatened. Patients are afraid to complain because when they do they are retaliated against. Awful situation!

Very bad experience
Michael

The manager, Lauren, assured me that she would spoil my wife, take good care of her, and set her up with doctors appointments. Well, none of that happened. The day I moved her in they accepted a chronic cough-fer that also screamed all night and they put her in the room right next to my wife (there were 6 other empty rooms in the house that would have been a better choice). This traumatized my wife so badly that I had to take to the emergency room one week after I moved here in. As soon as I could make other arrangements, I moved her back home. It cost me almost $6K and it was the worst week of both my wife and mines life. Because of the 30 days written notice, I had to pay for a full month that I did not use because they did not hold up their end of what they promised. They really seemed to care until we paid and moved in.
