I disagree with the previous writer. They may have had some unpleasant experience with a staff member, but that does not change the fact that Regency is a really nice place to live. The costs are kept to a minimum because it is a non-profit organization. The maintenance staff is excellent and very good to the residents. If I was retiring now I would seriously consider moving there.

The management of Regency Retirement in Laramie is absolutely sclerotic, poorly-run, desperately out of touch with reality, and despotic. The management is too unwilling to adapt and market units. The management is willing to have the Regency apartments run into the ground, without any recourse to good management practices. The management is absolutely domineering, without a willingness to listen to suggestions concerning keeping the Regency apartments occupied with decent, solid, elderly citizens. Whomsoever is in charge of this program needs to call the administration/management to task.

My mother has lived at Regency for years and loves it. The facility is independent living but she can have a great lunch in their pretty dining room every weekday. It is quiet, secure and attractive. It is really affordable, too, because it is non-profit. They have a van service, as well. The residents are so friendly and it is like a family there. I enjoy visiting her and staying in the nice guest room.
