The 3 star review should be a 0 star not a 3 star.

It is so wrong that this facility is conspiring to keep Mrs. Margarite Sereal when her only son desires to care for her himself in Houston. His aunt & uncle fradualently had her sign over a power of atty to move her from Houston to La. It's a money issue but remember God has the final word on all moral authority. This facitlity had the audacity to call the police on her son Chris when he came to visit her on Mother's Day weekend. Well I can truly say that he is a much humble person than I am. Because if it was my mother that was being absued & this facitlity was conspiring like this, it would be an entirely different situation....

My mother has diabetes and was never taking shots for it under my care. Now she is at this nursing home. It has gotten worst.

My mother is a resident at Marigold house nursing home. My mother was living here in Houston. She was diagnosed with dementia. My aunt and uncle abducted my mother and got her to sign a medical power of attorny over to my aunt. She thought she was signing a agreement that if I wasn't around, that my aunt would be in charge of making medical decisions for her. My aunt put her name on my mothers checking account. My aunt gave this information to the administrator Kim at Marigold house. Marigold house never did a background check to see If all of this was really legal. They had my mothet put in a mental institution for a week. They never received my mother's medical records from Houston Tx while she wad under my care. If they did they would have known that my mother had dementia. My uncle and aunt took my mother away from me while my mother was still under doctors care for her eyes. She just had received operation on one eye and the other eye was getting prep for future surgery after the other eye finished healing. My mother eye that didn't receive the operation had gotten worst. My mother called me to remove her from this nursing home. When my wife and kids went to go and pick up my mother. Marigold called the police on us. I sent Marigold home information proving that the Medical power of attorney was illegal because of my mother's dementia and that my aunt did not have authority to use my mother's money to pay for her stay there. They hung up the phone on me and they refuse to give me information on my mother. I see now that this nursing home would take anyone in no matter if the elderly person is getting financially abused as long as they are getting paid. Im still fighting to get my mother away from there. I would advic anyone to not put your love once here in this nursing home. You may not get them back. An if you do. They wont be the same. They will come out worst. Even the policemen who they called on us were shocked. My kids are still terrified.
