there are care givers without any license who have to give shots to seniors, sometimes insulin shots. care givers are not trained well enough, but required to give medications to seniors, there were cases when residents received wrong dose or medication...?

I spent five weeks from the end of March to the first part of May 2010. I have nothing but compliments for the institution. The nursing staff was not only attentive and caring, but very professional and skilled. I was wonderfully surprised that the Administrator and Director of Nursing knew all patients by name on sight, and greeted them accordingly. The activity lady, Joan, helped me plan a surprise birthday for one of my dear friends. She went way out of her way to do this. Physical and occupational therapy were strong departments...I came home much much stronger than when I went in. The housekeeping and laundry department kept my room clean, and my clothes clean as well. I would not hesitate to be readmitted there should the need arise.

October, 2009 Wow! What a difference 4 years makes. Fountain View Village is under new management and has a great team in place. The proof is in the puddingState Survey in the skilled nursing community gets an "excellentA" rating, assisted living and memory care are full consistently and just a few apartments available in independent living. Very caring and attentive employees working with wonderful residents and family membersit is a team effort that shows. See for yourselfcome in to the Bistro (open to the public) for lunch Monday through Fridayask for a tour when you are there or just walk throught the Town Square. People are happy and having fun. It smells GOOD and looks GOOD (because it is GOOD).
