We have recently moved my grandmother from another rehab center to Avamere at Hillsboro. When I first drove up I noticed it looked new and as i walked in.. it was new and nice and CLEAN and didn't smell like other places grandma has been. I've been there every day now for a week and all of the carepeople really seem to care. They are good with her and help her. They always know where she is or what she's done that day.. what she's eaten. And believe me.. my grandma would let us know if they weren't treating her right. I just wanted to give a better review for those of you out there who are thinking about putting your loved one in this home. It IS 100 times better than where we've been previously and that place was a $6000 a month establishment.
