My grandmother has been living here for about 8 months and although it is a very nice place, I am unhappy with many things. I feel as though elderly woman should not be bathed by young male employees and even though it is not against the law, I have voiced this to the staff on two different occasions pertaining to my grandmother. It makes her feel very uncomfortable. She is in her 90's and I made it clear to the staff that she and I felt this way only to find out she has been bathed by a young man once again. My mother who had been her full time caretaker prior to her move here has also been receiving calls from doctors and clinics for medical reasons stating she hasn't been in quite a while, which the staff were suppose to be providing and making sure she was attending to get all her levels checked. Every time it has been brought to a staff members attention, they make it very clear it will not happen again and it does. I know they have new staff and a lot of changes but I expect them to follow through with things we have personally discussed. Especially more than once.From here on out, my family and I will write something up and have the staff here sign what we have discussed. However, with all that I have said my grandmother is happy in her new home and provided with many activities to keep her busy.
