After reading these two comments i feel it is very important to address them and set the record straight. I have worked at Chateau for over a year now. We have a fantastic staff that is very compassionate and dedicated to providing the very best care for our elders. For most of us, our residents become our second families. I think its important to know that we have a medicaid contract and would never ask anybody to leave because of being on medicaid. We monitor our residents daily and work had to fight weight loss. Most of our residents enjoy second and third servings at meals. Most meals we make too much food and almost always have left overs. We have a fantastic activity schedule that includes pampering our residents, going for scenic drives, arts and crafts, cognitive stimulation, Bingo, bible studies, live animal activities, music concerts, gardening, ice cream socials, and so much more. Behind closed doors chateau Gardens is not as friendly and caring as they want to appear. working there the short time that I did things that I noticed were... there was never enough food made for the residents to have seconds if they so desired. there were Always residents being left on the toilet causing falls. there were rarely any activities. these residents are sweet and loving and in thier last years they deserve better care than they are getting..

Abuse and neglect: No daily activities' Mother got contactures soon afer Tried to kick her out because she went on medicaid. Isolateded her, many accidents, did not get her to her doctors appointments. causing her death.. also tried to dump her at hospital and they had to threat them with calling the police in order for them to take her back Local authorities tried to help them by trying to cover up for thier neglect by not protecting our mother when thry were called. This has been devstating to our family
