This is the worst company to work for. The wages are low. They keep buying facilities cuts all the staffs wages. Does not want to put the money into the buildings. Does not give his employees raises. The management team is unprofessional. I used to work for Weston (they bought our building) My salary was cut tens of thousands of dollars. All the good qualified staff leaves do to the poor treatment and lack of compensation.

Emmaus Village isn't that bad. Our father lives there in the regular assisted living quarters and he is doing fine. We have had a few problems but the staff continues to make adjustments. Our father loves the girls (Jen, Lori, and others) there and he doesn't want to go anywhere else. It is a small facility, clean with a good staff. It is not as expensive as other homes so you get what you pay for, and more.

Reviews:

Emmaus Village is a poorly run senior assisted living and dementia lockdown facility. For years now Emmaus Village has experienced trouble in maintaining a smooth running business. They have cycled out 3 different administrative heads in the past 5 years, and they are lucky to retain any staff at all beyond 1 year. A large part of their business problems there are most likely a direct result of their poorly run facility. They hire care aids for around $8.25 an hour and offer very poor training and exercise extremely horrible judgment in selecting the staff they hire. No one at Emmaus Village has been given a raise in the last 5 years unless it's come as a result of a promotion. However in recent times they've been able to afford to build a lockdown dementia unit. Which allows them to charge residents families $3500 or more per month under the guise of excellent care while in reality their loved ones will at best be attended to by only 2 staff during any given shift throughout the day. The only successful business that Emmaus Village has operated in the last few years has been of an illicit nature. While the business was run under the lead of Patty Graf a very well profiting business of stealing and distributing prescription narcotics had taken place. For nearly 1 and a half years Irene Hetrick and her fellow drug addict boyfriend Chris Brown had siphoned hundreds of the residents prescriptions out of the building while administration and unit management swept the medicine errors under the carpet. Very recently Emmaus Village was at the brink of being closed when a state licensing inspection revealed that they had not updated their buildings failing boiler system. The owner of the Northampton Village Inc., Randy Weston, will continue to operate his business' of poor quality unless people stop falling for the joke of great care at the assisted living facilities. He will be sure to stock his assisted living facilities with all of the newest equipment bought from his medical supply company. Also as your loved one is injured in one of his great assisted living facilities it wont be a problem at all to have your family member sent to one of his rehabilitation facilities. Emmaus Village is a terrible business to entrust with the care of a loved one.
