Reviews:Unpleasant odors. Menu choices hard on digestion. Beds are ancient and don't promote good body mechanics for residents or staff. There are 108 residents. 1 CNA to 28+ residents, at night 1 CNA to 40 residents. Never enough staff scheduled even though there are enough employees. Residents w/ psychological disorders, dementia, alhzeimer's that frequently become combative w/ other residents, try to elope regularly, wander into rooms and take other's possessions are living together w/ residents that don't have these issues. Staff isn't trained to handle their special needs and no activities or programs are designed to engage these residents. Chaotic environment for residents and staff. At shift change the employees cut corners on care, safety, sanitation because they are anxious to leave.?

11/20/09 nice warm day not raining visited grand mother rolled her arouund facillty in wheelchair when we spotted an employee sitting on bench drinking a tall can of beer and smoking out of metalic pipe. he looked shocked we saw him and he said hi and quickly went inside. it clearly smelled like marijuana and he left beer can by bench. my grandmother said he was new and a nice boy and he was in the activities department.. when we went inside I pointed out the employee to another employee that woman said his neme was mike daum. he wasn't wearing scrubs so i was relieved to find out he isn't nurse or doctor. he's probably 5'9"5'10" and about 125 lbs. real petite short dirty blond hair big nose and not a very masculine voice. i love my grandma dearly but if i go to your center again and this man is here i will immediately move her so she doesnt have to be around these shenanigans. it is truly sad someone cannot go 8 hours without drugs and or alcohol especially when they are in the business of caring for others. I would have reported that day but i don't want any retalliation done to my grandmother.but if this is the kind of staff you employ at your facility i will notify the police and the better business bureau. we have 8 people in our family that will stand outside your facility and pass out fliers to let anyone elses family members know that this place employs people that care more about how they feel than the patients themselves. we spend a lot of money for my grandmother and we will pull her out immediately if this happens again or i see mikey mike micheal or any other employee not taking thier job seriously like its a party. It is a important responsibility to care for people and its hard to do it sometimes sober but intoxicated no way i am not gonna let my grandmother be treated like this she is human not a dog and i'm very offended that no one did a background check or a drug check on someone from franklin county the drug capitol. when i come back to see my grandma next week hopefully this guy is gone or my grandma will be leaving with me. we moved her in there years ago so she wouldnt be exposed to that atmosphere with my dad and brothers.thank you for your time and cooperation on this matter. regretfully, Kathlene peterson 6364662441
