We are EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED with Concorde Senior Living and wish to put anyone reading this on notice that their financial dealings are unscrupulous, verging on fraud! Beware! On or about 12/2/08, we made what we were told was a fully refundable deposit of $500 to hold a room for Helen, my 90year old MotherinLaw. Towards the end of December we received a call from an assisted living facility in California where she had been on a waiting list for 3 years. We decided to move her to California. We contacted Concorde at the end of December and explained the situation. They understood and stated they would return the deposit. Here we sit 5 months later and we still don’t have the $500 back. We have called Concorde repeatedly with no satisfaction. We have called their corporate parent Assisted Living Development, Inc. in Arizona and received only hollow promises. First, the check had been sent out to the wrong address, then it was in the system, then it was in the mail. We were promised that they “did not want to keep our money” and it would be in the next check run (2 runs per month). Surprise, we still don’t have it. We have filed a complaint with the Las Vegas Better Business Bureau and will be posting this statement on Ripoff Report.

Best Facility in Town: I cannot believe what a wonderful find this was. I was so concerned moving my Mother anywhere, but when I visited the Concorde the uneasiness went away. From the quiet neighborhood minutes from the strip to the accomodations and service, the overall experience was great. Mother is happy now and I can rest more easy knowing she is in good hands. She loves the great tasting food and personal care she gets from the staff. All in all, I would recommend this place to anybody that is looking for a nice place for Mom or Dad. Its very reasonably priced too.
