Emily Balanky has an excellent bedside manner. She is kind, respectful and seemed knowledgeable. The rest of the staff at the North Mandarin location were very nice and helpful. I did wait quite a while in the exam room, but I did not mind this too much. Last time I went to a different obgyn, they gave me about 5 seconds to undress before the Dr. was knocking at my door repeatedly asking if I was ready yet. The nurse and doctor both asked about my symptoms and I felt that they really cared and were trying to get as much info as they could so they could treat me accurately. Overall, it was quite a pleasant and comfortable experience. Oh- I did have to wait a whole week before I could get an appointment, but I probably could have gotten one sooner if I hadn't requested a female doctor. There are more male than female doctors at that office.
