I also had a mini facelift and lower blepharoplasty. After healing I really couldn't tell much difference from before the surgery. My eyelids were puffy after 9 months and he would not do anything else to fix it. I still had a good amount of skin under my eyes yet he was annoyed with me as if he could care less. We'll he doesn't care, he has your money. I also want to add that when I went to the surgery center the nurses had told me he closed the place down the night before with surgeries and he does several a day, so he must be rushed for time to do a good job. They we not impressed with him at the surgery center....that tells me a lot too. His prices are lower and he seems very nice when you go in for a consult but if there's a problem he will get very abrasive...to scare you off. It worked. I still may see a lawyer...so much to think about. My friend at the gym told me he had a lot of complaints lately too. Of course that is just what I heard and I do want to be honest here for all others who are contemplating him as their surgeon.

I went to Dr. Childers for an eyebrow lift. He recommended a brow lift instead. He then showed me what a mini facelift could do for both my face and my neck. I decided on both. I was told the recovery would not be uncomfortable; it was VERY uncomfortable. Worse, the results only last 3 months! When I returned to express my disappointment, Dr. Childers acted very annoyed. I told him for $10,000, I expected the results to last longer than three months! He was not happy with me. He did finally volunteer to do the surgery over, but I would have to pay the cost for the operating room and the anesthesiologist. I was not comfortable with him operating on me again, or paying the extra cost. I asked my dermatologist to evaluate my face and we both agreed the "brow lift" and the "mini facelift" did not last. I would definitely not recommend Dr. Childers.
