Hypnosis Information:Hypnosis is a mental state or imaginative role-enactment induced by a hypnotist conducted a procedure called hypnotic induction. Hypnotic induction mostly composed of a long series of preliminary instructions and suggestions. Hypnosis can be used therapeutically, and is called 'hypnotherapy' and is conducted by a hypnotherapist.
Hypnotherapy is often used on a mother during pregnancy so that she feels prepared for birth, and helps reduce anxiety, discomfort and pain during childbirth. In other cases, hypnotherapy can be used to help treat anxiety, subclinical depression, habit disorders, and treatment of conditions such as insomnia and addiction.
