The therapist will follow your lead. You can chat the entire time or relax in silence. It is completely up to you. It is the therapist's job to ensure you have a perfect spa experience and will cater the touch and other elements to your desires.

The day spa you visit may have a sauna or pool for you to use before or after your treatment. Ask the staff what facilities are available. Turn off your cell phone or other digital devices before entering the spa. It is meant to be a quiet, tranquil, and relaxing environment so it is recommended that you turn off all distracting devices. Many spas will recommend that you take a brief shower before your treatment in order to allow any products used to absorb well.
