Is she for real???

Anyone who's ex hires this woman be on the look out for papers being served to you. She will state to the court that you were served but really it never happens!!!! I almost missed a deadline to answer a counter claim because this woman lied to the courts.....yes lied to the courts!!!!!! Good thing I caught it and was able to file before my case went into default. Really all evidence now will hurt my ex's case but it is not pleasant to almost default!!!! She is a scam so anyone who is looking for representation move on!!!!

Incompetent and Unprepared
Anonymous

Unfortunately went with Debra Everman to court. She was expecting a settlement, so she was unprepared when the opposing counsel let us know that there would not be a settlement on the day of the trial. Ms. Everman had nothing prepared and we went to trial with her vast knowledge (sarcasm) and a legal pad. The other attorney had typed notes, all relevant questions prepared and documents and motions ready. Ms. Everman put me on the stand with no preparation and needless to say we got our butts kicked. Use her at your peril. If you want to win or need sound legal advice, pick a different attorney. I have since called other attorneys to go back to trial and they were not surprised when I told my story about Ms. Everman's incompetence.. One remarked that he had heard those stories before from other clients who had made the mistake of choosing her for representation and then called him. He also offered me information on how to report her for incompetence to the Idaho Bar Association.
