How do I know if Vyvanse is working for me?
I am a 43 year old female & I just started taking Vyvanse 6 days ago. They started me on 30mg on a 2 week trial basis. They also put me on Lexapro 10mg. I am not sure if it is doing anything. My son says I am calmer & I don't get mad as easily lol. But that could be the Lexapro. I was jittery in the morning for about 2 days. My friend who has taken it for years says that it is normal to be jittery at first & it stops. I kind of feel like I notice a difference but like I still shake my leg when sitting, I still forget some things etc. I am not sure if I just need to give it awhile or if it really is helping I am just not realizing it, I am just doing them, or if I need a higher doseage or a different med alltogether. Any input would be appreciated!

What is Depression

Depression is a mental illness marked by feelings of profound sadness and lack of interest in activities. Depression is not the same as a blue mood. It is a persistent low mood that interferes with the ability to function and appreciate things in life. It may cause a wide range of symptoms, both physical and emotional. It can last for weeks, months, or years. People with depression rarely recover without treatment.
