Katie I can understand that going to counselling might be a daunting thing, coming out of your comfort zone at a time when you feel most vulnerable due to the depression is a hard thing to do, but going to a counsellor and getting whats on your mind off your chest and having them give you some feedback and help you make sense of the route cause of your problems, might be very refreshing and just what you need.

You should find a friend who will listen to what you have to say so you can get things off your chest. I find it's alot easier telling my friends what's wrong rather than a counsellor or even family. I try to be that person for my friends and I'd help you if I knew you. So you should try find this friend that will stick with you and help you and listen to your problems then give feedback.. But counselling probably is the best thing because who would be better to help you than a professional? Don't see them as a working person though, see them as an individual who can and will help you.

I would go back to the doctors and tell them the meds u r taking are not helping. and as for the counseling. there not always rite. hate to say. Seek another counsel but please don't do anything to yourself. it is not the end of the world. the bible say seek and you shall fine. will do just that..i'll keep u in my prayers. and good luck and God Bless

Depression simply begins with dail life stress; the causes of stress are many and the first thing to do to fight it, is to identify the cause' is it your(work, mariage, family member, relationship). 2. Find the value of the stress cause to your life. Now, you will be in a position to deal with your situation! Avoid all things that makes you unhappy, find good friends and share your experiences and in a short while you will see life changing. As you choose friends to share your problems, be careful! Don't choose people who 'll; disclose your secrets to others, betray, hurt, discriminate or selfish people because this kind of people will worsen your current situation. First pray hard, sing gospel music and believe in God and God will never forsake you. May God heal you as soon as possible. Nice time.
