Brandy and Maksim
Brandy and Makss forte is telling a story. Their dances are vignettes of lifes passions, which was particularly fitting for the two most tempestuous of dances performed tonight. Their Paso Doble was a literary music video, like a combination of the relationships in Wuthering Heights and Dr. Zhivago if they were set in Spain. Carrie Ann called it amazingly passionate and was finally satisfied by Brandys upper body carriage. Score: 27. Len noted the atmosphere they created in their Tango and how the lifts were performed with effortless ease. Bruno called it lush, languid, voluptuous; Carrie Ann dynamic, powerful, and amazing. Score: 30

Jennifer and Derek
Jennifer and Derek have a Ginger Rogers/Fred Astaire vibe. They truly trip the light fantastic. Jennifers elegance and carriage are particularly impressive due to her severe neck injury from an automobile accident she was in years ago with her then-boyfriend Matthew Broderick interesting that both Brandy and Jennifers lives were both affected by fatal car accidents. Bruno called Jennifers flirty cha-cha vibrant and sexy. Score: 30. For her waltz to Way Over Yonder, her lines matched Dereks exactly. Bruno called her quality of movement stunning; Carrie Ann said it was one of the most beautiful things she had ever seen; Len called it poignant. Score: 30. -
Bristol and Mark
Bristol may not be confident of her dancing, but she is confident in herself, which is evident by her public speaking on being a teenage mom. She looked sophisticated and more sleek in both of her long black outfits but her loose, long hair gave her a sexy, wild look. After her Paso Doble, Carrie Ann gave her a hug; Len commented on her determination and called it her best dance ever; Bruno said she was turning into a tigress. Score: 27, the same as Brandys. Compared to Brandys Paso Doble footwork, however, Bristol looked like she was posing, with much fewer steps and more arm gestures. In her waltz, Carrie Ann thought she returned to her somewhat vacant look; Bruno called her a woman of mystery; Len noted that of all the stars, she had the biggest journey (and it was a 5-day ride in a truck from Alaska to L.A.). Score: 26 -
Kyle and Lacey
Kyle got his shimmy on doing the Samba. Len noted Kyles bum got more bounce to the ounce than any other star bottom; Bruno called him irresistible; Carrie Ann also noted the pelvie action. It was his night for 10s. Score: 28. He surprised everyone again with his simmering Argentine Tango, although he was unable to repress his smile the entire time. Len said he had never seen anyone perform with such enthusiasm and attack; Bruno called him sharp and masculine. Score: 29. Kyle has successfully blended his bouncy entertainment talent with technique.
Brandy is a survivor. Jennifer is a dancer. Kyle is an entertainer. And Bristol is her mothers daughter not to be underestimated. The judges have spoken. What do you say?
Judy Kirkwood is not ready to predict a DWTS winner.
