Get A Power Mat Workout

Put your mind and body into your fitness workout. International mind-body fitness authority Moira Stott has a new Power Mat Workout video for home exercisers that combines elements from J.H. Pilates-based exercises and modern exercise science.

The goal of the program is to build lean muscle mass and core strength, while burning fat and calories. If you're fit, the program is great, but it can also be adjusted to the level of exercise that's right for you.

You do the exercises on an ordinary mat, performing them in rapid succession. This is designed to raise your heart rate while delivering a fat-burning aerobic workout.

Even if you do the exercises slowly and methodically, you'll still see results. For those already geared up for aerobics, it's a great way to add an essential mind-body component to your workout.
