Q:

New Challenges

I was single for my entire adult life until 9 years ago, when I had a series of TIAs and ended up needing to share expenses with a man I came to love. He took care of me and my diabetes for eight years, and I did so well! He loved to cook (I hate it), and even had restaurants and clubs where he could cook for clients and friends.

When he was here, all I had to do was show up and eat the healthy, balanced meals he served. Buteight months ago he became very ill himself, and had to move closer to his daughter who could care for him properly. So now I am newly single again. It is not so much fun this time around, and it doesn't sit right with my diabetic lifestyle.
