She brought the grey fur vest from the UK streets to the red carpet and created two completely different looks. Here, she rocked an elegant emerald gown, and wore her favorite vest over it to add some flair. For a similar fresh and trendy look, try pairing a fun belt or a unique bag with your favorite evening dress.

Now this is what wed call upgrading your average denim skirt! The skirt's oh-so-subtle ruffling isis playful, but the high waist and not-too-short length is still age-appropriate. Tucking a loose, plain white T-shirt into it was also a great decisiona tight shirt could have easily made the look too youthful.

We also enjoyed her choice of the leopard print purse with the simple outfit. Accessorizing with an animal print belt would create a similar effect. Or if youd prefer, reach for a bag in a different print, like floral.

Nude-hued clothing is another trend to look out for this spring. Elle showed us how to perfectly rock this style with a taupe-colored leather jacket. Her matching nude lace-up heels also made our list of much-coveted items.

This strapless little black dress is the perfect lengthit hits right below the knee, making it sexy, but still classy and sophisticated. (Elle looks amazing at age 47, but she gets the idealets leave the mini dresses for the twentysomethings, please!)
