Secrets for Marital Excitement |

I'm anxious about my spouse discovering my affair.
Your anxiety is well-founded. Most people "broadcast" telltale signs when they're having an affair, says psychologist Ed Dreyfus, author of "Someone Right For You". It may be a smell or a lipstick smear, a ticket or some other piece of evidence you leave behind, or a tweak in your attitude. If you're both silent on the subject, your spouse is probably too anxious and confused to broach her or his suspicions.
Before it's too late, try to recognize that your spouse is "the love of your life," but that your lives are changing, and you need to rework your marriage to fit. Figure out what you want from life before you jeopardize your marriage. Then, decide to pursue it, together--or apart.
