Your instincts are probably right, says psychologist Ed Dreyfus, author of "Someone Right For You". Most people "broadcast telltale signs when they're having an affair, even if they aren't aware they're doing so. If you're both silent on the subject, your spouse is probably too anxious and confused to broach her or his suspicions.
Before it's too late, try to recognize that your spouse is "the love of your life," but that your lives are changing, and you need to rework your marriage to fit. Figure out what you want from life before you jeopardize your marriage. Then, decide to pursue it, together-or apart.
