EPS
Earnings per share. Net income per share of a company's common stock, after deducting taxes, depreciation allowances, potential losses, payments to holders of preferred stock and bonds, and other costs. For example, if a company has a million shares of common stock outstanding and earns $1,000,000 in a year, the EPS would be $1 for that year.
