ScreenshotIn the upper left corner of your desktop is a computer icon. Unless you've renamed it, it's called My Computer.

If you can imagine your computer as a book full of information, then this icon is like the cover of the book. If you double-click it, it will open the book to the Table of Contents.

On your computer, you can use this Table of Contents, or "directory," to go almost anywhere on your system.

To learn how to use the directory, let's do some exercises.
