Barbara has some suggestions on how to protect your hair, too.
She warns, "Lying on the beach or sitting in the sun, or swimming inthe sea or a chlorine-filled pool are great ways to spend your[vacation], but they can all leave your hair damaged.
"Here's how you can make sure you come back from your [vacation] with your hair in the same condition as when you left..."
1. Protect your hair at all times. In the sun, always eitherwear a hat or use a protection gel to stop color fade or your hair frombecoming too dry. 2. Always rinse your hair after you have been in the pool. Mostpools have chlorine in them, and this will bleach your hair and give ita green cast! 3. Don't put products on your hair to make it go lighter in the sun, as this can cause real damage. 4. Wash and condition your hair frequently. It is important thatthe hair is nourished after being exposed to the drying of the sun allday. 5. Choose a vacation style that is easy to manage. Remember, you want a quick-and-easy style that can be worn loosely without toomuch work and heaps of product. Source: Liverpool Echo. Powered by Yellowbrix.
