Have dry, dull or flat hair? Maybe you don't need another heavy conditioning mask. Maybe the answer lies in a good deep clean -- a mud hair wash.
Product build-up, chlorine as well as the silicones that come in a lot of smoothing shampoos and conditioners are all guilty of clinging onto hair and stopping it from looking its glossy best.
The answer is Fango Mud from the Schwarzkopf Seah Hairspa range.
Top Glasgow stylist Taylor Ferguson is so delighted with the results it gives, he's offering the mud mask as a treatment in his salon.
Just as a facial scrub reveals a fresh polished complexion, the mask is the luxury equivalent for your hair. It soaks up any excess oil, products and pollution particles from the hair and scalp. It's also great for hair that's greasy or lifeless.
Very porous hair that soaks up and holds colour, product or dirt, will also look better.
The thick "mud" is made from Fango Earth. Once applied, it's left for ve minutes to absorb. The formulation smoothes and detoxi es the hair as well as revitalising it.
After shampooing the mud off, my hair was blow-dried without the need for conditioner. It was left shiny, light and smooth. My long hair usually needs a daily condition to stop it being full of tugs and static but the mud also contains Amaranth Oil, aningredient which gives just enough moisturising without overloading the hair again.
If your hair is looking lacklustre, this will bring your it to it's healthy best.
. Fango Mud treatment costs pounds 20, with an additional fee for a blowdry afterwards. For bookings call the Taylor Ferguson salon on 0141 332 0397.
