- Pick's disease (fronto-temporal dementia)
- Normal pressure Hydrocephalus
- Untreated Syphilis
- Toxic levels of metals, such as aluminum (can sometimes occur in dialysis patients)
- Vitamin B12 deficiency
- Thiamine deficiency
